John Weldon Elementary's Abilities Awareness Week will be held February 5-9, 2018. Dress up to promote Abilities Awareness!

2/5 Manic Jammies Monday! Wear Pajamas and get crazy about a world where Everybody Counts!

2/6 Team Tuesday. Wear your favorite sports team shirt and cheer for all abilities because Everybody Counts!

2/7 Wacky Wednesday. Mismatch, wacky clothes, anything goes because it’s ok to be unique - Everybody Counts.

2/8 Throwback Thursday. Wear clothes from your favorite decade (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s) because we’ve come so far toward a world where Everybody Counts.

2/9 Friend Friday. Bring a stuffed animal friend and remember to be a friend to all because Everybody Counts!


Abilities Awareness Award Nominations are now being accepted!

Nominee criteria: Nominees can be any member of the John Weldon community who has helped improve the lives of those with disabilities or has made a significant contribution in our community to the betterment of a person(s) with disabilities. Anyone can nominate – staff, students, parents, grandparents. Please consider taking this opportunity to recognize a deserving individual. Nominations can be brought to the office (Attention: Lisa Agee) or emailed to Lisa Agee.  Nominations are being accepted through February 28, 2018.
